Making your own digital photo cards and personalized holiday photo cards is a lot easier than you think. All you need is your favorite photo or photos to get started. Soon you will have your own customized set of digital photo cards to send off to your family and friends for graduation day, birthdays, holidays and more.
Printable greeting cards are a great way to keep in touch with family and friends and show off your digital photos. Most online digital photos services offer customized photo cards, allowing you to create your own photo greeting cards for holidays, birth or wedding announcements, birthdays, invitations, thank-you notes, and more.
Creating Printable Photo Greeting Cards:
Photo cards are easy and enjoyable to make. Top-quality custom made photo cards can be designed in a snap, complete with your own digital images and personalized message inside through online photo services such as Shutterfly and Ofoto. Photo greeting cards are printed usually on 5x7 card stock with either a glossy or matte finish. All you have to do is upload you digital photo/photos to the photo service of choice, select a layout and greeting, and add your personal message to finish your card. Photo cards typically come in sets of 20, complete with envelopes for mailing.
Another greeting card option for maximum convenience is offered. Shutterfly features the ability to import your addresses from your Palm device or Outlook and they will even mail the cards for you!
Software for Photo Greeting Cards:
Digital photo software is widely available for you to make your own printable photo greeting cards. There are many great programs complete with photo card templates for any occasion. It is easy to create your own birthday and thank-you cards or cards for any other event. Two of the most popular programs are Adobe Photoshop Album and FotoFinish.
