Sony Ericsson has launched its latest Symbian OS smartphones, the G700 and G900.
Sony Ericsson G700 is a compact candybar phone that has a 3.2-megapixel camera with autofocus. It has a fully interactive touchscreen that allows users to quickly jot down notes with the stylus. Alternatively, the notes function also allows users to doodle or draw and send them to friends.
Meanwhile, the attractive G900 has a few extras over Sony Ericsson G700, including a powerful 5-megapixel camera for taking high quality photos and videos. Also, users can frame their shot and change the focus point of the camera by simply touching the screen.Both the phones run on an updated Symbian operating system that has an improved user interface that gives easy access to essential functions such as the calendar, favourite contacts and more.
Both the phones have 160MB built-in storage memory that can be expanded up to 4GB with a M2 memory stick. Sony Ericsson G700 does have the same intuitive interface that Sony Ericsson is bragging up as a simple and efficient tool for organizing your life without a lot of technology “just for the sake of it”. It features the One-touch full organizer with the ability to make little “post-it” type notes that can be hand-written with the stylus and saved. The handset can also recognize the handwriting and convert to text as you take notes on the 2.4″ touchscreen.
Sony Ericsson has annouced new phones in the G-series- G900 and G700. Both these phones feature dialpads and full touchscreens. The G900 has Wi-Fi and a 5MP camera with a touchscreen UI for taking, viewing, and editing photos. The G700 also features large 2.4″ display with unique single touch control menu. It has a 3,2 megapixel camera.
