Ohio Laser recently expanded its advanced laser cutting capabilities for flat steel and other metals.
The laser cutting company has begun operating a 6000 Watt Trumpf TruLaser 5040 system that can cut carbon steel to 1 inch, stainless steel to 1 inch, and aluminum to 5/8 inches. It offers precision laser cutting services with super-fast axially parallel speeds of up to 7874 inches per minute and simultaneous speeds of up to 11811 inches per minute.
The Trumpf TruLaser 5040 system now makes industrial laser cutting of metal possible using sheets up to 80 x 160 inches that weigh as much as 3968 pounds, allowing for the production of longer and wider parts.
A further advantage of Ohio Laser's TruLaser 5040 laser cutting machine is the fact that it permits automated self-loading and unloading, which reduces production times and costs, and greatly improves productivity. Multi-national manufacturers trust Ohio Laser LLC because of their expertise processing flat laser cut parts that consistently achieve high quality control standards in repetitive processing environments.
Corporations across North America count on Ohio Laser to maintain high inventory levels of metal stock and a large variety of metal gauges. Strong vendor relationships permit Ohio Laser to remain ever-ready for JIT orders with over 1,000,000 pounds of stock inventory available. The company stocks commonly used alloys including:
.002 to 1 inch thicknesses
Stainless steel: 304, 304L, 316
Aluminum: 5052, 6061
Thicknesses: .002 through 1 inches
