There are many varieties of electrician schools. Most of them are sponsored by the government. Some even have online programs with certifications. Companies from the electrical industry also hold events that sponsor people who wish to be electricians.

Many programs educate their trainees with the basics and fundamentals of electrician, these consist of installation, maintaining and trouble shoot of electrical devices. These are just some of the basics, there are more advance courses for electricians since there are many fields in this profession.

If you are planning to go to an electrician school, you must decide first what your plans and expectations are after graduating from it. Once you have some experience, then you will have a salary. Dedication to work is very helpful in becoming a successful electrician.
