Purchasing a Santa costume could turn out to be a great decision if you or your office workmates have small children. Having a Santa visit at Christmas parties adds a heart warming and memorable holiday touch.
The Christmas season is packed with events sponsored by various organizations that would all love to have Santa stop by for a whimsical visit. These include charity events, club or office parties, and school activities. If you have a costume, you or someone you know could help them out.
Santa costumes all use the same classic style that children everywhere associate with the Christmas season. Color combinations are really all alike and the suit includes a floppy red hat, red pants, a fur trimmed coat, and a huge black belt.
You will have to decide, however, if you would rather buy a traditional "Father Christmas" suit or a more modernized version. Either costume will certainly transform you into Santa Claus, but children are more accustomed to the modern variation.
Quality varies quite a bit between available Santa Costumes. Although you might have to spend a tad more money, buying a high quality, long lasting suit will end up being well worth the expense.
You can add a personal touch to your Santa suit by using some accessories. Real black boots and wire rimmed glasses will make your Santa costume more authentic. And, of course, you'll need a hypo-allergenic beard.
Since you beard is going to spend quite a bit of time on your face, you'll want to be sure that a gag beard won't bother your skin.
Naturally, Santa Claus could never be complete without Mrs. Claus. Her costume comes with more options, like an apron, traditional long dress, and hair in a bun. Risque costumes are even available for adult parties.
