There are plenty of great ideas you can find to benefit your bed & breakfast business. The goal of each of them should be to show guests exactly what you have to offer them. They may hesitate to make that first reservation but if you make it extremely enticing they will give you a chance to prove yourself. There is a good chance they will become regular customers at that point and even send you more business due to the praise they have to say to people they know.
There are many angles that you can take when it comes to helping your bed & breakfast to move forward. You may want to try out several things at once so you can have more of a chance that something is going to work out for you. Take areas where you really need to make improvements and include them as part of your promotions as well.
Offering a free night when someone stays for two or three days is a great incentive to go with you and not your competition. It can be something that simple that will turn your business around. You may say you can't afford to give away a night for free. Yet if that person doesn't make the reservation you may end up with the room empty for four nights so it is still going to be a winning situation for everyone involved with it.
Make it your business to know what types of promotions your competition are doing too. If they have something better than you then you will lose potential guests. More consumers are taking them time to carefully evaluate all of their options before they commit to something. Make sure what they see really encourages them to make their reservation at your bed & breakfast.
Don't pass over those that have already frequented your business though. It is harder to get new people than it is to keep current customers happy. Do all you can to make sure they know you appreciate their stay. Offer them special promotions that you send to their email account. Offer nice raffles and drawings where they can win fabulous prizes as well.
This can easily be done by asking guests how they heard about you. If you offer your regular guests free nights when others come to stay as well you will have plenty of free advertising out there. You can be sure that they will be working hard to get your business name out there with something like that in it for them.
It is common to offer some types of specials that can be found online only as well. People can find all the information they need about your business online and then secure their reservation. This will save you time and effort and keep them happy as well. They will be very happy that they have saved money just by booking the room on their own.
There are all sorts of promotions you can offer for your bed & breakfast. Be creative and look for ways to fill up your slots every day. Your goal should be to operate at full capacity. Cutting prices and giving away free nights are going to really promote what you have to offer and get people coming in on a regular basis.
