Over the years, it seems that all the major performers, be they singers, comedians, or even instrumentalists, always seem to end up in one central location once their careers finally hit their peak. All the big stars end up in Las Vegas Nevada on the Las Vegas Strip. Las Vegas was always renowned and well known for the massive mix of stars that perform nightly shows. At one point in time, it seemed to be the retirement home for older favorites such as Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. These days, however, contemporary stars are just as common in Las Vegas as are the older favorites. In other words, the retirement home is gone and now it is the new Broadway. http://juble.com/
The shows that can be viewed along the famed Las Vegas Strip are numerous and held at multiple locations, such as the renowned Caesars Palace. All one has to really do is walk down the strip, point out one of the major casinos or hotels, and find that they have pinpointed a spot where one interesting show or another is being performed. It is actually more difficult to find a place that does not have a nightly show than it is to find one that does.
In this decade, there are a number of popular shows that have become the regular itinerary for the Las Vegas Strip. One of these is that of the famed starlet, singer, and actress, Bette Midler. Several times weekly Mrs. Midler puts on a show somewhere along the Vegas Strip. Of course, these shows are performed in the usual comedic quirky style that Midler has long been known for. You get great music, excellent performances and a laugh or two at each one of Bette Midler's shows.
Then there are shows that do not necessarily feature certain performers, but are about them. One of these is the Beatles Love show. Everyone knows who the Beatles are. This four-man early pop music era band is still nearly as popular today as it was in the sixties and seventies. This particular show focuses on not only the lives of the band members and the impact that their unique style of music had on pop music today, but also on the era in which they lived and the inspiration for themes behind their songs. It is essentially a trip back into the past to the world that the Beatles band members lived in and how they viewed what at the time was referred to as progress.
Vegas has always been renowned for the many amazing shows that are performed there on an annual basis. There are performances that have nothing to do with music also, such as the magic of David Copperfield and the comedy of Eddie Murphy. If there is a big name performer, he or she has likely been in a Vegas show, or inevitably will be.
