Each Valentine's Day, people celebrate the tradition of love since the Middle Ages, when the exchange of promises was the norm, and continued into the following centuries with written letters declaring love and affection, and then expanded to today's printed card. Hearts, Cupid and arrows became the symbols of the holiday. Actually, Valentine's Day comes from ancient Roman feasts celebrated in honor of Roman gods who kept the fierce wolves away. During these festivals, young men would pick a girls' name and that was the girl who was to be his sweetheart for the year.
It's estimated that over one billion cards are sent each year from both women and men. Women do purchase the most Valentine's Day cards in the United States, but men purchase their fair share as well. However, there is more to declaring your love than the traditional Valentine's card. As we know, flowers, candy and gifts are commonly exchanged. But it is the truly creative that looks to do something different and memorable for their loved one at February 14th.
A true expression of the technology era, free ringtones have increased in popularity and make innovation today's commonplace. Everyone loves a new tune on their phone. What better way to celebrate the holiday than to have you and yours share a valentine ringtone, getting a famous love song to hear when you call each other. You can download ringtones such as the Theme from the Titanic or other memorable songs. Celebrate your love by hearing the classic sounds reminding each other of the love you share.
Besides Valentine ringtones, there are so many creative things you can think of for this holiday. Get out of the box in working out what you can do to show your sweetheart she's the one of your dreams. You can think of something that doesn't have to be expensive.

* Another story is of a women who made a entire meal with everything colored red and pink. The children will never forget the pink potatoes, or the big red cake.
So, think outside the box and do something unique this Valentine's Day. Forget about the normal gifts of flowers and make something yourself or find that unique song that is yours and make it into a Valentine ringtone. Do something different to share your love. Your sweetheart will love you even more!
