Everyone is asking when the Wii will be hitting the stores. We get this question asked a lot. People have heard of the Wii, but their not sure when to expect to see it or even if its been released yet. The sad fact is, the Ninento Wii has been out since 2006, but it has been so hard fo find in stores, a lot of people think it's still waiting to be released!

What has made the Wii so tough to locate? The fact is that there is tremendous demand for the console. Things like the domino effect happen when demand reaches such a high level. The response to the question is: Supply vs. Demand.

Nintendo worked hard to promote this product before it was available for sale, so that on the release day there was a great demand for it already. People were willing to endure long lines and bad weather for the chance to buy a Wii.

All around the world, people lined up at stores during opening time, yet most people left empty handed. If you weren't fortunate enough to be among the first ten people in line, you simply wasted your time and received nothing in return. Why? The truth is that Nintendo did not produce enough.

The Wii is a hard gaming console to find. So even if you've heard about the Wii and got all wound up, but then found you couldn't find one, you probably are wondering when the Wii is getting released. Well their out, so now you just need to wonder when you will actually find one.

Supply not meeting demand is not a new concept. Many manufacturers have started doing this for different reasons. However, the main reason boils down to the fact that over the years they have tried to create a high demand, thus they have produced a large amount of supply, only to see that the supply exceeded the demand.

When the supply exceeds the demand, the company loses money. Therefore, they have changed the game plan. They have found that a sure fire way of ensuring a demand of a product is to produce and release very few. This will ensure that everyone is scrambling to get one, telling others about their experience, and boosting the demand even further.

Why is it so darn hard to locate a Wii? When is the Nintendo Wii coming out? It is ready but you must wait for Nintendo to make more systems available. The tremendous response means that the cost will remain high. The manufacturers are making a ton of money while the customers are still trying to locate the machine.
