Sometimes, the menstrual cycle itself is too short or there are symptoms of spotting. Again, the kit can prove helpful to test for the actual picture. (3) Tender and enlarged breasts are also one of the earliest signs of pregnancy. Alert women notice this symptom even before a menstrual cycle has been missed and believe that they have conceived.
(4) Another one of the earliest signs of pregnancy is frequent urination. Actually, hormonal changes are responsible for this. It is not the embryo putting pressure on the bladder, as most women tend to believe. After all, the embryo is not even an inch in length during the first week of pregnancy. The hormone responsible for this problem is known as HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin). Even the doctor will advise a laboratory test for this hormone after listening to the symptoms.
(5) Cramping is also one of the earliest signs of pregnancy. The pain may continue during the first few weeks of pregnancy. The reason is that the ligaments in the uterus are creating space for the growing embryo. Sometimes, a sense of tightening is also felt.
The above-mentioned are a few of the earliest signs of pregnancy. If the result is positive, further instructions are in order. Smoking brings down birth weight; so it has to be stopped. Caffeine should be taken in limited amounts or not at all. Finally, a healthy diet is very important for a healthy pregnancy.
