Pregnancy is the most beautiful phase of the life of a woman.

1. Mood swings- You start getting irritated very easily and after some time you do the opposite. This happens because the hormonal surges during the early stages of pregnancy can cause mood swings worse than those from PMS.
2. Fatigue- You get easily tired, but fatigue can be a sign of may other conditions as well.
3. Morning sickness- Morning sickness can be associated with slight nausea or vomiting and it does not just happen in the mornings, despite its name. Morning sickness varies from woman to woman and pregnancy to pregnancy.
4. Food cravings- Suddenly you start experiencing great appetite and food cravings throughout your pregnancy.
5. Constipation- Two things are associated with the constipation during pregnancy. First being the change in hormone secretion in your body and the other is the growth in the size of your uterus. And when your grown uterus presses your bowels, constipation occurs.
6. Swollen and tender breasts- You may feel that your breasts are getting tender, larger or swollen to a great extent. The color of the areolas, the area around your nipples, starts getting darker.
7. Backache - This is due to the extra stress on your spine because of the growing baby.
8. Frequent Urination- The desire to urinate again and again is due to the hormonal changes or it could be due to the increase in the pressure on the bladder.
9. Spotting- Some of the pregnant women may experience spotting near the time when their menses should have occurred. This happens when the egg implants in the uterine wall. This spotting is caused when the fertilized egg implants in your uterus and is usually very light.
10. Missing period- This is the clearest sign for you being pregnant, but a missed period can also be caused by a large change in diet, exercise or stress level.
Now, after getting acknowledged with the early signs of pregnancy, it becomes necessary for you to realize that:
- Some women may experience just one or two of these early signs of pregnancy, some may experience all and a very few of them may experience none. Each pregnancy is different. So, go for a home pregnancy test.
- These signs of pregnancy can also be due to some other factors such as poor diet or a hectic schedule.
- While there are certain home pregnancy tests available, remember to follow their instructions about how to use them. Ultimately, your doctor is to decide whether you are pregnant or not.
