If you have been blogging then the reasons that you blog is because you are passionate about what you are writing in your blogs and you want to share it with the entire world, and the next obvious reason is you want to make money from your blogs. Most probably you have been making money from your blogs through Adsense – by far this is the widely used advertising program by bloggers and website publishers, because adsense delivers ads to a blog or website which are relevant to the content and no doubt people make huge money through that. Infact there are people who even earn in six figures with Adsense – well this definitely depends on the popularity of your blog and the traffic that your blog is able to draw from search engines.
Apart from Adsense there are few other ways by which you can monetize your blog like affiliate programs, these programs definitely pay good commissions on the sales and leads that you bring to advertisers through your site. So, if you are not affiliated with any site then its time for you to do so because you are missing out on huge opportunity to earn money.
But, one thing which has emerged enormously in the last one year and which has also become popular and favorite of majority of the bloggers is “sponsored writing” – yes that’s true sponsored writing is increasingly becoming very popular amongst bloggers. This is also known as “Paid Blogging” – now what exactly is paid blogging? There are sites which connects advertisers with bloggers these are usually called as “paid blogging sites”. These sites have a bunch of advertisers who are looking for somebody to write about their products, services or websites and in return they pay them for doing this. So, basically bloggers will be writing reviews about them and then if the paid blogging site approves your post then they will pay you and you also need to post the review on your blog. The reason this is becoming popular is these reviews don’t look like ads and writers are paid a good amount of money for this – there are sites which pay $100 just for a post of 400 words and the second reason is your visitors will get information about new products and services. There are certain sites which allow you to be as critical as you can about the advertiser’s products and few sites restrict you to write only positive things about the advertiser. Well, how much you will be paid is not fixed it depends on various factors like your blog’s Page Rank,traffic etc. So, increase your earnings with sponsored writing and join as many Paid Blogging sites as you can and get your blog exposed to maximum advertisers.
