Digital cameras today are providing many people the ability to take a better and quality photo. Even with all of the technology these cameras have, we still find ourselves at times unhappy with the image we have captured. With all of the capabilities available to us through digital photography software, we still have the ability to transform that picture to a perfect photo by modifying and editing.
To give you some examples, below is a list of the digital photography software you can use and are made available in the market.
Adjustment of graphics/photos Infran View. With this software program you can alter the graphics at the same time crop and cut your graphics, produce slideshows and even enhance your graphics. All these features in one simple and free software program. This is also perfect for group processing.
Image Force -- Another free software program with editing and painting tools. This tool has an image editor allowing the transfer of images from digital cameras and scanners. It's best use is for modifying, sending and printing photos. Provides quality output, but is a more complicated program to use.
Kodak EasyShare Freeware. This is widely used for modifying, sharing and even printing your photos. This is great for amateurs since it is easier to use.
PhotoFilter - Another simple software program. It has a user interface and a wide variety of image adjustments buttons, effects and filters, but a limited number of features.
VCW Photo Editor - Provides lots of editing and painting features. Includes tools such as, text tool, color replacement, gradients, editing in any scales, selections by region or color, special effects, etc. Upgrading to a higher version will give better features than the more basic free version graphic editor.
Picasa -- Google freeware program with the ability to share and edit all your photos saved on your computer. One major software advantage is that it instantly sets all the images and then sorts them by album with date on each folder, allowing easy organization and recognition of photos. Just simply drag and drop to organize your albums and create labels for each one. Picasa like other software has the ability to share and send your pictures through uploading them in your emails, and blogs.
Serif Photo Plus - This digital photography software offers options like editable text, image slicing, export optimizer, image maps, smart shapes, selection tools and other image enhancement tools. This program is available for free online, but a CD can be ordered with a shipping fee.
ADG Panorama Version 5.0 -- Panorama also lets you share your photos easily and generate them quickly. Added features include those that embed, edit and publish 360 degrees of interactive panoramic composition directly on the web. Keep in mind, this software is internet dependent.
Picture Shark -- Another freeware program that allows you to "inscribe" visible text or logos on the pictures. Another feature is the Wizard user interface, providing the ability to produce real watermarks. It also has a feather that create edges between the picture and the stamp, to make the image smarter and offers a support any image format.
These are only a small example of the digital software programs available today. A benefit of going digital is the ability to modify the images. By determining what software best fits your needs, a little practice with it and of course a dash of creativity...you can produce photos that will make you the envy of your friends and family.
