Why is it that older people seem to be suffering more from vertigo and dizziness than younger people?
Dizziness happens when there is a lack of blood flow to the brain and triggers us to lie horizontal to get more blood to the brain. Dizziness may be caused by several factors, such as sudden drop in blood pressure, stress, or aging.
The reason for this is because as we grow older, we breathe less effectively since our lung muscles and breathing passages become weaker and tenser. When this happens, we don't get enough oxygen.
Aside from this, the tension in our necks contributes to the vertigo and dizziness. The tension prevents oxygen from getting to the brain because it causes the veins that run up to the head through our neck to harden and we experience blockages.
Finally, that tension can also alter the position of our head as we grow older. As you know, we rely on the balance system in our eyes and ears to stay standing. When they are not, such as when our head is in an unusual position for a long time, our sense of balance is ruined, which leads to vertigo and dizziness attacks.
Three strikes, you're out. It's a whole new ball game when we get older.
Statistically speaking, over 40% of americans seek treatment at some point in their lives for vertigo to no avail. It's sad that those treatments never really give them relief from vertigo and dizziness.
Vertigo and dizziness are actually quite simply treated by simple exercises that address its causes directly. My Vertigo And Dizziness Program does this by strengthening the muscles that control our breathing passages, simple breathing exercises, and exercises that ease the tension in the neck.
Also, my vertigo and dizziness program brings more nutrients to the brain, which helps to stop you from experiencing dizzy spells in the future aside from stopping the ones you are experiencing now.
My Vertigo And Dizziness Program may be found here. Do yourself a favor and sign up, and join hundreds of my satisfied clients who are now getting much more out of their daily lives.
After all, isn't staying on your feet the best way to enjoy the prime years of your life?
