The band The Jonas Brothers has been in the business since 2005. In the course of the band's career, they were able to release two albums- It's About Time and Jonas Brothers. The songs of the Jonas Brothers are a mixture of punk, rock, a little bit of acoustic and soul.
Initially it was only Nick Jonas who was really in the music industry but after an executive at Columbia Records heard the song "Please Be Mine" as sang by the brothers, the record company decided to sign up the brothers as a band act. The band released their first album under Columbia with songs that were created with other music writers. The music writers are experienced song creators that have worked with some of the most successful musical acts from Joss Stone to Beyonce. The Its About Time album contained the following hits: "Year 3000" and "Mandy."
When Columbia released the band, the group signed up under Hollywood Records. They released their second album entitled Jonas Brothers. And in this album all the are written by the brothers themselves. It clearly shows the maturity that the band has gone through since 2005. The album contains the following songs: "Kids of the Future", "Hold On", "SOS", "When You Look Me in the Eyes", "Hello Beautiful", "Games", "Hollywood" and "Good Night and Goodbye".
The band also launched other cover songs such as: "6 Minutes" by Lyte Funky Ones, "What I go to School For", "Poor Unfortunate Souls", "Kids of the Future", "I Wanna Be Like You", and "Take on Me" by A-ha.
The band also showed some other ability like creating music for other engagements. During the second season of American Dragon Jake Long, the band sang the theme song. Other songs record for Disney Project were "Yo Ho and the "Time for Me to Fly".
The title of their on going third album is not yet known. The Jonas Brothers formula for success is their ability to compose good music. The tunes they create have the beat of somewhat punk and pop.
